Big Red Racing will support up to six players via an IPX network link or two players via modem play. A DOS and Windows 95 native title, Big Red Racing's game features include two-player split-screen racing and the opportunity to race 16 different vehicles over 24 international tracks. Vehicles include helicopters, hovercraft, lunar buggies and jeeps while racing on terrain's such as rushing rivers, city streets and outer space. In addition, Big Red Racing's 3-D graphics engine allows the player to view the action from any angle -- including your opponent's front seat and numerous trackside cameras.
"Big Red Racing is aimed at PC gamers of all ages. The array of tracks and vehicles coupled with the support of several virtual headsets and multiplayer features make the title's appeal widespread," commented Paul Ranson, the title's producer. In addition, Big Red Racing will soon on the Total Entertainment Network (TEN) for additional multiplayer action.
