Attack Helicopter Combat Simulation Game Marks Company's First Flight-Sim Release

New York, NY, October 15, 1997 - Continuing to diversify its award-winning entertainment software lineup, GT Interactive Software Corp. (NASDAQ:GTIS) announces the release of its first flight simulation, AHx-1. Developed with the expertise of Israeli military helicopter pilots, AHx-1 places the player inside the cockpit of the most advanced attack helicopter in the world. Capable of unruly devastation against its opponents while reaching speeds of up to 1.25 mach, the VIPER helicopter is the first and last line of defense for the United Nations in its goal of world peace.
