RAYMAN IS BACK AND HE’S BETTER THAN EVER IN RAYMAN GOLD
More Lunacy, More Gameplay, More Rayman!San Francisco, CA, October 10, 1997 -- With nearly 1 million copies of the original adventure keeping players glued to their screens, the world-famous bug-eyed cartoon hero Rayman is returning to PC CD-ROM in a special new edition designed to bring the Rayman experience to the next level. It's Rayman Gold, the latest incarnation of Ubi Soft Entertainment's blockbuster hit. Rayman Gold not only includes the complete original adventure, but 24 new levels - ultimately doubling the challenge of the original game. The title also features tools that empower Rayman fans to create and add new levels, allowing gamers to extend game play endlessly. The title was created for Rayman fanatics who own the original humorous PC adventure, as well as newcomers who will soon become enchanted by the wacky worlds of Rayman. The 24 new maps contain extra challenges and obstacles that build on the original adventure. For example, now in Rayman Gold, exit signs won't be revealed until Rayman finds 100 cleverly hidden blue tings. In Rayman Gold, the tings that Rayman needs to collect now come in several different colors. Each can activate different features of the game such as leading the way to the next level or giving Rayman an extra life. With the clock ticking, players will need to use all of their ingenuity to help Rayman come out of each level alive! In addition, Rayman Gold includes a full set of revolutionary tools that allow fans to build their own Rayman adventures. Gamers can swap maps with other designers at Ubi Soft's dedicated Rayman Gold web site, thus providing infinite product expandability. Set for release on PC CD-ROM in early November 1997, Rayman Gold will carry an MSRP of $29.95 and be available at major retailers nationwide. Ubi Soft Entertainment's products are available through a national network of resellers and distributors.
