Darker is set on a planet called Orbic, divided by light. Unfortunately, lights have just gone out and the sun worshipping Halons are condemned to a certain extinction if they cannot adapt. The only hope for Halons is is to gain the knowledge of darklife from their Delphian neighbors before it is too late. However, the Delphians, after having used this technology for centuries, are not ready to give it up so easily!
In this new game from Psygnosis, gameplay is essential. With a Doom style gameplay in a shootem-up environment, Darker blows up the screen with beautifully rendered adaptable graphics and truly intuitive controls that brings a free flight feeling.
Using fast 3D graphics, Darker also features dozens of enemy crafts with a trashing 3D wraparound soundtrack and has been developed specially for the player who wants to blast everything out.
It could become a legend if it is not just another Doom clone...time alone will tell.
