July 26, 1996, San Francisco -- Eidos Interactive, a developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software for the PC, Macintosh, Internet, and next-generation gaming platforms, announced today a license agreement with the Total Entertainment Network to provide Confirmed Kill exclusively on TEN's multi-player game network. Confirmed Kill is a multi-player World War II flight simulation, designed by a former Gulf War veteran, Bryan Walker, Eidos Interactive is the new name for the entertainment publishing division which combines Domark Software, Core Design, and US Gold.

Confirmed Kill will feature technically accurate simulations from World War II which have been designed specially for on-line gaming to enable gamers to engage in a number of scenarios. There are over 200,000 square miles of historic battle sites and 60 vintage planes, including the P-51 Mustang and German Messershmidt, players can choose to fly within a squadron, or solo dogfight. Experience points are also rewarded to the pilots based on their number of kills, missions completed, and sportsmanship.

After successful testing in late 1995, where an unprecedented 5,000 players worldwide logged onto Domark's Confirmed Kill host site, the company has recently teamed up with TEN and revamped the graphics engine and flight model to create a gaming experience unlike no other. "CK will set the standard for on-line combat in '96", commented Dominic Wheatley, CEO of Eidos Interactive.
